Heather Stimmler-Hall in Sightseeing

Here are some photos taken during the Fête des Plantes at the Prince Jardinier's Château de La Bourdaisière. Read all about Loire Valley Garden Festivals in this month's newsletter!

Here's the entrance of the Château de La Bourdaisière, dating back to the 15th century.

It's also a hotel with 21 rooms (here's my favorite).

Stands set up for the Fête des Plantes (Easter weekend) in front of the converted stables.

Another angle of the château and the plants for sale.

Two views of the world famous Tomato Conservatory (over 650 varieties!)

The tomato seedlings are still in the greenhouse, but the beds are ready for the May planting!

The stables have abeen converted into a boutique and tomato "museum" with educational displays.
