An Authentic Insider's Peek at Paris

Keith Spicer, author of Paris Passions, knows Paris better than most expats. Watch this excellent little video featuring Keith in his neighborhood, the painfully charming Rue Mouffetard.

As an aside, this is where I lived back when I was a student in Paris, right above the butcher shop in the opening scene. I had no idea at the time how lucky I was, I thought the whole city was like this!

I think I could watch film like this for hours! In lieu, I'm off to investigate the book.
Thank you!

Hi Heather,
My husband-to-be and I will be coming to Paris for our honeymoon for about 3 and half weeks next year in August and are feeling a little apprehensive but very excited about the experience!

We want to just spend all our time in the city and really try and do as much as we can, see as much as possible..

Do you have any tips/advise for making the most of our time? Any difficulties with the language? Living costs/expenses?

Thanks in advance.
Olivia

Hello Olivia,
Why yes, I do have tips and advice and a ton of knowledge gleaned from 14 years of living in France. You can find most of it here on the site if you dig around. If you're in a hurry or want me to answer all of your questions personally, you can hire my services as a travel consultant. ;)
Regards,
Heather
