Eco-friendly Dry-cleaner in Paris

Dry-cleaners in Paris are usually in stark white, fluorescent-lit, utilitarian shops, but Sequoia, a new environmentally-friendly dry cleaner in the 16th, is all about green, white and chocolate tones with natural wood accents to the Corian counters. They even use special light-therapy lighting for the staff and client's well-being. Nice.

They clean your "dry-clean only" clothes with a special Green Earth biodegradable silicon liquid that also supposedly protects the fabrics, and is safe for leather, suede and sequined or beaded garments. Even the bags are made from recycled kraft paper, and the clothing bags from biodegradable corn-cellulose fiber.

The price is competitive with other dry cleaners, and you get free delivery for orders over 50€ (in an electric car, of course). For now there's only one location in the 16th (12 rue d'Auteuil, open Mon-Sat 8am-7:30pm), but more are coming.
