Parisian Eco-Hotels

There are actually only a half dozen Eco-label certified hotels in Paris, but more and more are doing their bit for the environment (asking guests to reuse towels and bedding more than once between washings, installing energy efficient lighting and appliances, low-flow toilets and bathroom taps, recycling, using non-toxic cleaning supplies, and offering guests organic breakfast foods). If you'd like to stay in an eco-friendly hotel in Paris, here are a few options:

- Hôtel Gavarni

- Best Western Hôtel Le Jardin de Cluny

- Best Western Hôtel Etoile Saint-Honore

- Best Western Premier Regent's Garden Hotel

- Hidden Hotel

- Hôtel Gabriel

There are also a handful of Parisian bed & breakfasts which have been rated "eco-friendly" under the Authentic B&B label, you can find them listed with these agencies:

- Alcôve & Agapes
- France Lodge
- Good Morning Paris
- Une Chambre en Ville
