Bread, Roses, Champagne...what else do you need?

By far the best cheesecake I've had in Paris, organic breads, and delicious food...okay, so it's a bit on the pricey side, but they also sell chilled Dom Perignon to go for less than it's sold in local wine shops. So much to love!

Chinese New Year Champagne

Pommery is releasing a limited edition of their Pop mini-Champagne bottles for the Chinese New Year (February 14th, a convenient date if you want to forget that other holiday) called the Pop Dragon.

It actually looks pretty cool, and even has its own matching embroidered red drawstring bag. But as this is the year of the Tiger (my year!) it would have been more appropriate to go with the sexy fauve, non?

A Weekend in Reims

Updated on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 by Registered CommenterHeather

Earlier this month I spent two days in Reims updating part of the Fodor's France Guide. Check out my informal photo gallery of all the fun places I visited, the chocolates I ate, the Champagne I drank...

It's a hard job, but someone gets to do it! :)

Halloween Party: Win a Magnum of Champagne

I'm in Boston on the Naughty Paris book tour on Halloween this year, but if I was in Paris I would defintely be at the Flûte Etoile's "Halloween Prohibition Party." Flûte is the "Champagne Speakeasy", a small, intimate bar just near the Arc de Triomphe. The costume theme for the party is "1920s or smoking (tuxedo)" with a free cocktail offered for each guest and a magnum of Champagne for the best costume.

October 31, 8pm-11pm.
