Christine and André’s kitschy bistro on the edge of Les Halles is one of the few places in Paris where you can get a real meal at 3am . Huge plates of crisp frites accompany traditional French dishes and draught beers, and patrons sit on funky bar stools made from vintage bus signs. Can be a bit surreal after 2am with the mix of punk teens from the ‘burbs, random tourists taking photos, and old locals who never let you forget that Les Halles was so much better before the wholesale food market left in the 60s. Lunch Tues-Sat, dinners nightly.
