Not to be confused with the old-fashioned Caron de Beaumarchais on the other side of the Marais, this is a fun and funky contemporary hotel on the edge of the hip Oberkampf district. You'll get a good idea of the rooms from the lobby, with its brightly colored vinyl armchairs, industrial metal staircase, and monthly art exhibitions on the walls. A hardwood deck openes onto a small private courtyard, open when the weather is agreeable.
